Hi! If you're here, you already know that I'm kaffy_r, a longtime Dreamwidth user and fanfic writer. My personal journal is over here, at Grasping at Grace (and Growth), which is where I post my fanfic and personal posts about family, political rants, and other bits and bobs.

I do write original fiction, something I did a very long time ago, abandoned, then restarted, thanks to NaNoWriMo. It recently occurred to me that I could actually post some of that recent original fiction here on Dreamwidth, because (and I quote myself regarding sending my fiction out to publishers for consideration) "I'm supremely lazy and that's just too much work."

Since this community is for my friends, who - if they are here, have decided to sample some of my science fiction and fantasy-oriented work - I suspect it will stay a very quiet place. Once here, folks can read without commenting, can comment both negatively and positively, or can turn up their noses at the whole mess and leave.
